Duck Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 kg duck, cut into pieces
  • 2 large onions, finely sliced
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Spices (turmeric, chili powder, garam masala)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Steps

  1. Marinate duck with salt, turmeric, and chili powder. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until raw smell disappears.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  5. Add marinated duck and spices. Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
  6. Reduce the liquid if necessary and roast the duck until dry and browned.
  7. Serve hot with rice or roti.
