Chole Batura

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp chole masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Steps

  1. Soak chickpeas overnight and pressure cook them until soft.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until raw smell disappears.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  5. Add chole masala, salt, and cooked chickpeas. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with batura.
