Bullseye (Egg in a Hole)

Bullseye Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Use a round cookie cutter or the rim of a glass to cut a hole in the center of the bread slice.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
  3. Place the bread in the skillet and let it toast for about a minute.
  4. Crack the egg into the hole of the bread.
  5. Cook until the egg sets on the bottom, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Flip the bread and egg carefully to cook the other side, about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately.
